Who am I?

Hi, I’m Courtney Richter.

I am currently a Graphic Designer and Digital Print Press Operator at Worldwide Caboolture & North Lakes. As a graphic designer, I design for various projects incorporating Company branding or Logo Designs, Corporate Stationery, Marketing Materials (both print & digital), large-format designs and much more. As a digital print operator, my role incorporates pre-press procedures and checks, the operation of digital printing presses, and print finishing equipment such as cello glazing, binding, guillotining, and folding.

I am curious by nature and love a good challenge. My background in retail has allowed me to quickly discuss with clients their needs, understand their problems, and seek out the client’s requirements to design and/or print their project meeting their goals.

I love a good adventure and thrive on developing my skills in design every day. Therefore, I have attained a Graduate Certificate in UX and Web Design from Billy Blue College of Design (Torrens University) to improve my skills further.

I’ve worked on numerous graphic design and print projects covering a range of industries, including government, healthcare, marketing, real estate, the trades and many more. While I can’t disclose the companies by name or showcase some of the projects, I’m happy to discuss the work I did.

Outside of work I…..

Draw and Sketch

Drawing and sketching have always been a part of my life. I have been perfecting my artistic skills in sketching images and art pieces using various mediums, mainly graphite pencils and ink or ballpoint pens. Being in the creative zone has been my stress relief and helped me to clarify my mind. It’s always satisfying to see the end results, even if they are not “perfect”.

Photography

Having a camera in my hand is all part of me. I have self-taught myself the basics of using a camera. It is always gratifying to show people what you see from your perspective. My main focus on photography is landscape photography.

Be a dog mum

Dogs have always been a signature part of my life growing up, and I couldn’t picture myself without one. I am a proud mum to an Australian Bulldog named Bruce. However, don’t let the eyes fool you. He is quite cheeky.
